Twice each year, up to100 young adults representing the ten nations around the Baltic Sea gather to work under the same conditions as the members of the European Parliament. Delegates prepare and debate relevant and vital European topics in 5 different committees.
The procedures in the General Assembly are very formal and in accordance with the European Parliament standards, and it is often hosted in the parliament building of the organizing country. Thus, after the committees have written their resolutions, the parliament assembles for the General Assembly, or plenary debate.
The approved resolutions are forwarded to the European Parliament as a summary of the week-long session. The youth of the Baltic Sea region have thus stated their opinions on the issues of European collaboration .
